Africa Printing was established in 1997 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It has started its operation at the heart of the country’s largest commercial district commonly known as Merkato, where almost all business activities are observed every day. Africa Printing has managed to attract several clients in this business area as a result of its efficient operation and quality products.
The founder and chairperson of the company is Mr. Dagne Amogne, a prominent business person with proven skill of entrepreneurship in various sectors of the country’s economy.
After seven years of successful operation, the company reorganized itself in to a Private Limited Company in 2005 at a registered capital of 10,000,000.00 ETB, which is a very strong capital base compared to most of the business establishments in the printing field. Accordingly, the official name of the company was changed from Africa Printing Press to Africa Printing PLC, registered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia with the following details:

Where as majority of the city’s printing companies are housed in rented buildings with limited space, Africa Printing operates in its own spacious compound in an area known as Lamberet, Kebele 13 of Bole Sub-City. The company is also equipped with an excellent assortment of printing machines and equipments that contribute a lot in meeting and exceeding customer expectations with regards to quality and timely printing.
After 10 years of continuous and successful operation in the printing industry, Africa Printing has become one of the leading printing company in the country by acquiring several key customers all over the country.

Management Team
Africa Printing PLC is led by its General Manager Mr. Epheram Demelash, with a university degree and enormous experience locally and internationally. The Deputy General Manager is Ms. Sentayehu Dagne with B.A degree in Management and long working experience in the company.
Africa Printing has a total of 150 employees under three departments. All the department heads are with appropriate educational backgrounds and work experience, as a result of which professionalism is prevalent in the company.
